Review Wenatchee’s 2046 Plan Update
Draft development regulations are open for public comment
Members who build, design, or support residential development in the Wenatchee Urban Area are encouraged to review a new set of draft planning and development documents.
The City of Wenatchee and Chelan County are seeking public input on proposed amendments covering:
- The 2026–2046 Wenatchee Urban Area Comprehensive Plan, including updated goals, policies and maps and a minor urban growth boundary adjustment
- The City of Wenatchee Capital Facilities Plan
- Title 10 zoning provisions related to parking, supportive housing, homeless shelters, definitions and other development regulations
- Title 11 Unit Lot Subdivision standards
- Residential Design Guidelines addressing building materials, ground-floor uses on pedestrian-oriented streets, applicability and character-area boundaries
These proposals could shape future land use and residential development standards in the Wenatchee Urban Area. Members should review the materials and share relevant questions, concerns, or recommendations as early as possible.
The state-required notice period ends October 11, 2026. Comments will continue to be accepted through the public hearing process.
