What Criminal History Background Checks Include:
- Arrest Records: Information about arrests, including the date of arrest and the charges. However, not all arrest records may lead to convictions, and certain restrictions apply to their use in employment decisions.
- Conviction Records: Details about any convictions, including misdemeanors and felonies, sentences, and the status of parole or probation.
- Pending Criminal Cases: Ongoing criminal proceedings that have not yet resulted in a conviction or acquittal.
- Warrants: Existing warrants for an individual's arrest.
